Today, we would like to introduce you to Komiya Shoten's new series of Japanese-made umbrellas for ladies, "Amairo."
The "Sweet Color" umbrella is perfect for rain or shine and is perfect for spring outfits.
This is a series of double-woven Koshu fabrics, with different colours on the front and back.
The colors on the front and back are woven in an exquisite balance, allowing you to enjoy the different atmospheres on each side.
The appeal of this fabric is its pale, dull color variations, which are difficult to achieve with Koshu weaving, and it can be easily matched with any fashion and used in any situation.
"Koshū weave" is a Yamanashi fabric woven using dyed yarn, also known as pre-dyed yarn, with double yarn (twisted yarn) for the warp and single yarn (one piece of yarn) for the weft.
Its appeal lies in its deep glossy color and elegant, heavy finish.
Furthermore, because "Amairo" is woven on a rare, narrow loom, there are no perforations on the edges of the fabric (ears), so you don't have to worry about fraying even if you use it for a long time.
The long umbrella comes in a 60cm, 8-rib size, while the folding umbrella comes in a 55cm, 8-rib size. Both umbrellas feature a natural wooden handle that matches the image of the fabric.
The fabric is also UV-resistant, so it can be used as both a rain umbrella and a parasol.
