The Higashi-Nihonbashi store has recently reopened with an expanded sales floor.
Thanks to you, we had a lot of customers visit us. Last year we caused a lot of inconvenience to our customers due to restrictions on entry, so our staff came together to create a sales area where customers could take their time looking around our products.
The sales floor has been expanded to about twice its previous size, making it easier for customers to view our umbrellas.
The staff did everything from scratch, from reupholstering the walls and floors to creating the fixtures, so it has become a shop that we are very attached to, along with our umbrellas.
I hope to give you more details about our staff working on the renovation soon.
To commemorate the reopening, starting April 1st, we will be offering a free gift (kitchen gift) to anyone who purchases a Western-style umbrella at the Komiya Shoten Higashi-Nihonbashi store.
Please note that the offer will end as soon as the gifts run out.
Among the umbrellas sold in the shop are some that have been certified as "Tokyo Traditional Crafts" and are made using materials that were used 100 years ago.
Other exhibits include a hand-cranked single-link sewing machine that was used during the Meiji period.
We hope you will come and visit even just to have a look.
In addition, with the renewal, the types of electronic money that can be used in shops have increased, and currently credit cards, PayPay, transportation IC cards, JCoin, etc. are accepted.
