At the Higashi Nihonbashi shop, you can choose the umbrella handle so you can create an original umbrella.
(The handles that can be attached vary depending on the umbrella, so please ask our staff for details.)
This year, in addition to the usual handles, new types have been added, so first we would like to introduce a few items for long umbrellas.
Resin Hunter
The handle is finished with a dog design made from Italian walking stick resin and features a Japanese oak support. 
It goes very well with the slim silhouette of men's long umbrellas.
It is mainly attached to 65cm x 8-rib and 16-rib men's umbrellas.
Resin Arabesque
The handle is finished with an arabesque design using Italian walking stick resin and is fitted with a Japanese oak support.
This can also be attached to 65cm x 8-rib and 16-rib men's umbrellas. 
Here is an image of the Koshu weave "Tachibana" attached to 65cm 8 ribs.
The heavy feel of the umbrella fabric matches well with the handle, making this a very special piece.
Resin Hose
The horse design is finished off with Italian walking stick resin and the handle is fitted with a Japanese oak support. 
It is popular for its horse design and walking stick-like silhouette that makes it easy to hold.
This can also be attached to 65cm x 8-rib and 16-rib men's umbrellas.
All handles have a brass part called a "ball fastener" attached to the bottom, but since the size varies depending on the size of the umbrella's center pole, this is processed after the umbrella has been decided.
Please note that it may take several weeks for your order to be delivered. 
I think this is one of the joys that can only be had at a physical store, so I would like to gradually increase the number of one-of-a-kind options available that will make you feel glad that you came to the store.
The watches introduced here are only available in our shop, and as each one has a slightly different design and size, they are all sold as-is.
Also, depending on the umbrella you choose, it may not be possible to attach it, so please feel free to consult us in store.
If you already have an umbrella from Komiya Shoten, you can bring it in and just replace the handle.
In that case, please note that we will charge you a separate installation fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) in addition to the purchase price.
