We participated in the "Women's Re-employment Support Networking Event," a project to promote the appeal of small and medium-sized enterprises, organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Bureau of Industrial and Labor Policy and Training.
It was a fruitful time for us to exchange opinions with companies and participants about future working styles for women in terms of childcare, elderly care, and career advancement.
We will use what we have learned through this exchange to improve our efforts to make our workplace more "workable," including passing on traditional techniques, enhancing our personnel system, and creating a better working environment.
