Komiya Shoten Co., Ltd. made a joint declaration to promote women's participation in the workforce and diversity management at the "Tokyo Women's Future Forum - A place for companies to consider 'women's participation in the workforce'" hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on January 28, 2025.
In order to expand the circle of women's participation in the workforce throughout Japan so that women can demonstrate their potential in all situations, we have positioned the various initiatives that we have promoted thus far as the "Women in Action " ( WA ) and will continue to foster momentum. As part of the WA initiatives, the "Tokyo Women's Future Forum 2025" was held to encourage change in the awareness of managers and the culture of the workplace. Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko and representatives from 30 companies, including our company, took the stage to issue three joint declarations and each representative delivered a message.

We declare that we will pursue the following initiatives as part of our management strategy!
- My top management will transform the culture of the organization.
- Develop female managers and increase the number of women in decision-making positions.
We will ensure that a greater variety of voices are represented. - We will create a comfortable working environment for everyone, not just women.
