The season of fresh greenery has arrived at our Higashi-Nihonbashi shop.
How are you all doing?
For umbrella makers, this may be the busiest time of the year.
While some days are drenched in sunshine, the rainy season is just around the corner, and customers can choose from a variety of umbrellas, both sun and rain, in the stores.
Well, today is the first time I've introduced something in a while.
Sorry for the wait. Here is a drawing of "Kasane".
The artist who created this wonderful picture this time is one who always creates lovely depictions of flower motifs.

"Blooming" Navy/Red
Soft spring flowers on deep red fabric.
I found myself staring for a while at the flowers blooming one after the other.
"Sparkling Flowers" Gray/Rose Pink
This is a cute design with small, round flowers blooming one after the other towards you.
Among them, the small flowers had a sparkle in the center, and it somehow looked like fireworks or a starry sky...maybe it's just me, but the design on my hand also started to look like the Milky Way.
"Kamyaku" Cerulean/Lavender
The motif uses very refreshing colors, but what caught my eye first was the vein-like pattern running through the flower.
I couldn't help but look it up, and found out that it's called a "flower vein."
I feel a sort of vibrant life force.
"Chocolate Rose" mustard/beige
The inside of the umbrella looks like a decorated cake, which may be because I'm hungry right now, but it also looks delicious, like chocolate cream flowers blooming on a cafe latte base.
Of course, that's not all, the blue leaves add a fresh accent color.
