This umbrella is made using the Assendelft technique, a type of folk art that originated in the Netherlands.
Each of the 16 frames has the same beautiful flower design, making it very colorful and beautiful.
"Hindalopen" Navy/Purple
This traditional technique, which also takes its name from a place in the Netherlands, is characterized by the depiction of flowers, curling ornaments, etc.
The placement of every other frame gives it a strong presence.
"Rosemaling" Raspberry/Smoky Aqua
This is traditional Norwegian folk art.
Deformed plants are depicted.
