Attending the 2020 Tokyo Metropolitan Government Women's Participation Promotion Award Presentation Ceremony
The award ceremony, which had been canceled due to the spread of COVID-19, was held on June 17, 2022, jointly bringing together the award-winning companies from 2020 and 2021, and the awards were presented by Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike.
The presentation ceremony was attended by our CEO, Komiya, and our female employee in charge of promoting women's participation in the workforce, Ito.
Our company is a male-dominated company, but we were recognized for our efforts to promote women's participation in the workforce from the ground up, which has led to the transfer of technology and increased business performance, and for creating a workplace where both men and women can work comfortably.
Komiya Shoten will continue to strive to be a company where not only women but also employees with diverse backgrounds can maximize their abilities and all employees feel that their work is rewarding, making it a place where people want to continue working forever.
