Introducing the original umbrellas of the brand "Automata Crown" produced by Asa
The handmade umbrella commemorates the 10th anniversary of the popular song "Yoshiwara Lament," and Asa chose Komiya Shoten because she wanted to pass on the traditional craftsmanship of Japan.
The umbrella is printed with a hand-drawn design, and the accessory parts attached to the tassel at the handle and the color are just some of the details that make this a handmade item.
The design is printed on the back (inside) of the umbrella and spans two frames, so we carefully connected them and made sure the design would look beautiful.
You can enjoy the change in design as it shows through to the surface (outside) of the umbrella.
It feels as if it expresses the world view of Yoshiwara Lament, making it a fascinating umbrella.
The included umbrella case is also designed by Asa, giving it a beautiful and luxurious feel.
Thankfully, they also printed "Komiya Shoten" on the box.
This umbrella, in which Asa's thoughtfulness can be seen in even the smallest details, was carefully crafted one by one by the craftsmen at Komiya Shoten, taking Asa's thoughts into consideration.
