We have decorated our shop with Christmas trees, and an increasing number of customers are looking for Christmas gifts.
Komiya Shoten's Higashi-Nihonbashi shop will be holding a Christmas event starting Monday, November 18th.
Event Details
1. You can choose limited Christmas wrapping until December 25th.
Gift wrapping is available only to those who purchase a Japanese-made umbrella, and you can choose our limited edition Christmas wrapping with white ribbon and ornaments.
Please use it as a gift only during this time of year.
2. Customers who spend a total of 22,000 yen or more (tax included) will receive a free umbrella bag made from Koshu weaving's "Aoi" fabric.
An umbrella bag is a bag that can hold a folding umbrella with the ribs extended.
This easy-to-use bag is coated with a water-repellent and water-resistant coating and has a large opening so you can quickly store your umbrella even when it's wet from the rain.
We also recommend using it as a bag to hold wet items.
This bag is also an upcycled product made from damaged fabric.
Please note that the umbrella bag you receive may have visible scratches.
Koshu-ori fabric is woven on very rare, narrow looms, and takes a long time to weave, but if even one thread goes wrong due to the temperature or humidity of the day, it can remain as a flaw.
We carefully craft each item in order to reuse them and deliver them to our customers as environmentally friendly upcycled products.

*The event will not take place on the Wholesaler Festival day on Sunday, December 1st.
At our Higashi Nihonbashi shop, we also accept customization requests for umbrella handles.
If you are considering having your name engraved on a Christmas gift, orders placed on our online shop by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9th will be delivered by December 24th.
