The September 23rd issue of Weekly Bunshun featured a photo of actress Shihori Kanjiya holding a parasol from Komiya Shoten on its beauty encyclopedia page.
The umbrella shown is a mixed color of "Aurora". This item is currently only available in stores, as each piece is dyed differently.
Since its founding in 1930, Komiya Shoten has continued to make umbrellas with the desire that people will use them for a long time as a part of fashion.
Western-style umbrellas, which were introduced to Japan at the end of the Edo period, were refined by the techniques of Japanese craftsmen and their unique aesthetic sense. We will introduce the appeal of Japanese-made Western-style umbrellas, which continue this tradition and live on in the present day.
