Introducing "Art Events" within walking distance from Komiya Shoten

Hello, this is Kato.
The heat has finally subsided, making it the perfect season for a walk.
As you walk along, you'll be delighted to smell the scent of osmanthus wafting from somewhere.

Now, in the Higashi-Nihonbashi to Bakuro-cho area where Komiya Shoten is located, there are many art galleries.
The other day, under the pleasant clear autumn sky, I took a stroll during my lunch break and checked out the gallery "Kumi Tokyo," located a little way from the Bakuro-cho intersection.

That day, an exhibition was taking place, and when I looked in at the entrance, I was greeted by a beautiful deer object that seemed to be peeking out at me from the forest.

The scent of cedar, moss, earth, and water...I took a deep breath and instantly felt my body relax.

Although I wasn't able to meet the ceramic artist, I was able to spend a fulfilling time listening to explanations from the owner and curator of Kumiu Tokyo, and the artists in charge of the plants and videos.

Additionally, the art, design, and architecture complex "Central East Tokyo" (CET) is being held until November 5th.
CET is a creative project that aims to create new value, centered around the town of Nihonbashi, located slightly east of central Tokyo.

This season is also known as "Autumn of the Arts."
There are many other art galleries near Komiya Shoten.
If you are visiting Komiya Shoten, why not take a look around the Bakuro-cho Gallery?
