It's finally Christmas at the end of this month.
We are very happy to see many customers coming to our Higashi Nihonbashi store looking for umbrellas as Christmas gifts.
A popular request for gifts is to have a name engraved on an umbrella.
At Komiya Shoten, you can choose between "direct engraving", where your name is engraved directly onto the handle of the umbrella, or a "nameplate", where a plate with your name engraved on it is attached to the handle of the umbrella.

"Name engraving" costs 2,200 yen including tax, and it will take approximately two weeks from the time of order until completion.
We are thankful to have many customers who consider having their items personalized as gifts, but some customers don't have much time before the desired delivery date, such as for Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, or farewell gifts.
We recommend "Alphabet Charms" to such customers.
There are two types of alphabet charms: leather string type and charm type.
The price is 1,650 yen including tax, and can be handed over on the spot.
For long umbrellas or curved handles, we use leather cords, and for straight handles such as folding umbrellas, we use charm-type attachments.
This is an original alphabet charm with the cursive letters A to Z on the front and Komiya Shoten's umbrella-shaped mark engraved on the back.
It can be easily removed, so it is recommended to attach it not only to umbrellas, but also to bags and small items.
This item will be sold exclusively at the Higashi-Nihonbashi shop, so please consider it as a gift this season.
