Parasol season is coming! This year, we will make umbrellas for both rain and shine using furoshiki with Isara pattern.
This morning, when I was listening to the radio before leaving the house, they were talking about the increasing amount of UV rays, and on my way to Master Koguno's house, I saw a woman using a parasol.
The sun's rays are getting stronger, I thought to myself, it's that time of year again. When I arrived at Master Konugi's house, I found piles of cut fabric for use in all weather conditions.
The furoshiki cloth has an Isara pattern and can be used all year round, but it will be especially useful in the coming season. I'm excited to make it, thinking that it will make going out more fun and that it will be fun to coordinate with clothes.
I took a photo of the inside stitched with a sewing machine. (There are other types too.)
