The Tokyo Traditional Craftsman Certification Ceremony was held at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
So, two craftsmen from Komiya Shoten, Shoichi Kogane and Katsumi Sugasawa,
He was awarded a certificate and a plaque as a craftsman of the traditional Tokyo craft, "Tokyo Western Umbrella."
On the way back from the ceremony, we had everyone stop by the store and take a commemorative photo.
It was a day that made us proud and happy.
